Title:  Apprentice

• Ongoing coaching, mentoring and support to complete Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade – (Fitting)

Working as an Apprentice you will be exposed to a variety of tasks which may include:

• Using hand tools to complete tasks.
• Clean and maintain various workshop equipment
• Manufacture, assemble, fit, clean, and lubricate machined parts using a range of tools and equipment.
• Review drawings and use measuring instruments to manufacture parts.

To be considered you must have the following:

• Willing to undertake or continue to achieve a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting)
• Completed a relevant pre-apprentice course 
• Able to demonstrate team working skills.
• Enthusiastic, conscientious, and keen to learn.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude.
• Completed Year 11 Education.
• Current Drivers License and reliable transport.
• Passion and Commitment to completing a 4-year apprenticeship.

The successful applicants will be entering into a 4-year training contract. You will receive full ‘on the job’ and TAFE training as well as guidance and mentoring from qualified trades personnel.

Candidates who have completed a pre-apprentice course and /or are part way through an apprenticeship in the same field will be highly regarded and are encouraged to apply.
