Position Summary
We currently seeking an enthusiastic Powertrain Component Fitter to join our Engines Division in Mackay. In this permanent full-time role, your core focus will be the safe dismantle, inspection & measure, rebuild, test and repair of Powertrain components and associated products.
Job Description
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:
- The disassembly and rebuild of Powertrain Components and associated products.
- Component measure and inspection for its reusability and/or repair.
- Manual handling.
- Appropriate housekeeping duties to ensure the work area is always clean and safe.
About You
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:
- Trade Certificate – Diesel Fitter
- Experience in a similar position in the heavy engineering/mining industry
- High Risk Work Licence – Forklift
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
