Title:  Warehouse Associate

POSITION SUMMARY:

H-E Parts Dom-Ex has been in business for over 40 years supplying mining parts and equipment to our local and worldwide customers. We are looking for candidates with a good work ethic, good attitude, mechanically inclined, basic computer skills, and willing to learn. 

The purpose of this position is to safely assist the H-E Parts Dom-Ex team with all aspect of the Warehouse operations, including but not limited to, processing all incoming and outgoing inventory, preparing parts for delivery, entering parts in our ERP system. Equipment maintenance skills are helpful but not necessary. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safety – conduct all activities in a safe manner, utilizing PPE and adhering to company policy and alerting others regarding potential concerns. Safety is # 1.
• Process all incoming and outgoing inventory.
• Enter inventory adjustments and movements in our ERP system.
• Construct crates and pallets to protect parts and components for orders and stock for shipping.
• Effectively communicate and relay pertinent information in a timely manner to the team.
• Load and Unload flatbed trucks, cube vans, shipping containers, etc.
• Move components by operating jib hoists and pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform or assist with maintenance on warehouse equipment or vehicles.
• Keep warehouse and parts yard clean and organized.
• Assist co-workers with projects and tasks while working in the warehouse and parts yard
• Help in other areas of production as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50# is required.
• Clean driving record and a valid driver license required.
• Ability to pass a pulmonary function test required.
• Two years warehouse and/or shipping/receiving experience preferred
• Forklift operator certification preferred.
• Microsoft office experience is preferred.  
• Previous experience in equipment maintenance preferred.
