POSITION SUMMARY:

The warehouse associate is accountable, under direct supervision, to fill customer order requirements with strong team coordination and follow-through abilities to complete full cycle of shipping, stock put away, picking, packing, stocking, documenting, and shipping customized orders, accurately and expeditiously.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Safety – conduct all activities in a safe manner, utilizing PPE and adhering to company policy and alerting others regarding potential concerns. Safety is # 1.

· Pick, pack, and ship orders to internal and external customers in the most efficient manner.

· Utilize ERP system to process customer orders.

· Know and follow all standard operating procedures (SOP).

· Keep warehouse manager informed of operations.

· Strong sense of time organization and urgency.

· Attention to detail is REQUIRED.

· Count and record material to ensure accuracy

· Utilize scale to weigh and/or hand count product per warehouse/ customer specifications

· Utilize label printer to prepare labels as required

· Return remaining product to proper location

· Accurately count, package, and label per warehouse/ customer requirements

· Accurately package and prepare material for shipment

· Utilize freight companies, UPS and Fedex to ship product to include preparing Bill of Lading’s.

· Utilize forklifts, pallet jacks, and hoists. As well as varies power tools to build shipping crates.

· Meet established standards for quality and productivity

· Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Three to five years general warehousing and shipping experience preferred.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

· Alert and aware of safety issues and safeguards required.

· Work well in a team environment required.

· Detailed oriented and perform basic research if required.
