Job Profile Summary
As a member of the Human Resources Team, the Human Resources Coordinator will assist the HR Services Team by providing generalist support to the HR Business Partners. The position will focus on enhancing and centralizing processes, as well as coordinating and administering activities/action plans to create efficiencies that support the HRBP Team. Duties include full-cycle onboarding of new hires, recruitment support, business priority support, and various administrative tasks.
Major Job Functions
Reporting/Analytics (30%)
- Create reporting and analytics for HR Services regarding KPIs, turnover, performance management/reviews, employee surveys, training, and compensation. Make recommendations on process improvements based on trends.
- Prepare reports for day-to-day support, projects, HR cycles, or initiatives.
Business Partnership/Customer Service (30%)
- Act as the first point of contact for employees with inquiries related to payroll, benefits and pension, recruitment, onboarding, HR policies and procedures, HRIS navigation, etc. Identify and escalate complex inquiries/cases as needed to the HR Services Team.
- Manage full-cycle onboarding of new hires, ensuring processes and compliance requirements are followed systematically to deliver a superior employee experience. Follow up proactively to avoid delays in start dates and keep the business informed.
- Provide HR administrative support, including answering employee questions, preparing presentations, gathering and analyzing information, composing letters, and using the HRIS for HR-related tasks.
- Provide guidance to people leaders and the HRBP team on transactional HRIS activities related to business processes.
- Build organizational knowledge and business/financial acumen to establish strategic relationships with business leaders.
- Ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies and procedures.
Performance Development (20%)
- Partner with HR Business Partners to develop skills in investigations, terminations, performance management, training initiatives, and employee relations support.
- Develop across all generalist HR disciplines by supporting business processes and implementing HR strategies and priorities, including employee relations, talent management, compensation, training and development, and ability management.
- Collaborate with front-line leaders to develop and review job profiles and job evaluation summaries as part of the compensation evaluation process.
- Support the Human Capital Management system (HERO), including position creation/maintenance, employee job and compensation changes, and supervisory organizations.
- Recommend solutions to improve efficiency in day-to-day tasks and responsibilities.
Administrative (20%)
- Conduct exit interviews and compile trend analytics.
- Manage all onboarding administrative tasks.
- Create presentations, employment documentation, and announcements, and update internal distribution lists.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, invoicing, coding, expense allocation, system data maintenance, and ordering supplies as needed.
