POSITION SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Associate III (Lead) is responsible for coordinating and supervising all warehouse and inventory control activities daily including receiving, material handling, picking, issuing, shipping and storage of parts and components in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Safety – conduct all activities in a safe manner, utilizing PPE, adhering to company policy, and alerting others regarding potential concerns.
2. Supervise, coordinate, and assist in the unloading/loading of in/outbound shipments.
3. Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork ensuring that all products are undamaged and accounted for.
4. Efficient staging and delivery of parts used in scheduled in-house rebuilds, providing maximum up time for our technicians.
5. Accurate stocking, picking, and issuing of parts and components.
6. Ensure safe and efficient operation of all materials handling equipment.
7. Ensure scheduled preventative maintenance is performed on all material handling equipment, including daily pre-start inspections.
8. Maintain accurate bin locations.
9. Maintain accurate cycle counts.
10. Ensure integrity of the inventory by conducting cycle counts.
11. Lead annual physical inventory counts.
12. Ensure the optimal utilization of space through warehouse and out-lot consolidation.
13. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly warehouse and out-lot area.
14. Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
15. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and security in accordance with OSHA and GHS standards.
16. Supervise and offer leadership to warehouse employees in accordance with the organization’s policies and guidelines.
17. Responsible for planning, assigning, and directing work, as well as training new team members.
18. Perform any other tasks assigned.
DECISION MAKING:
The Warehouse Associate III (Lead) is required to make decisions that will directly impact the department, branch location, overall organization and their internal or external customers..
INTERNAL/CONTACTS:
Position requires collaboration with co-workers as well as operations, safety, logistics among other department managers.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1. A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
2. Must have organizational skills to maintain an efficient warehouse.
3. Must be able to lift between 50 – 75 pounds.
4. A minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving along with one year experience in a supervisory capacity.
5. Must have powered lift truck experience.
