POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is a critical position that is focused on leading the cost estimate process, vendor management, and coordination of repair components within the component reman production team.
This position is heavily reliant on effective communication, time management and organizational skills that compliment and support a collaborative team environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides support to customers and representatives via telephone, fax or e-mail on an as needed basis.

Communicate with Field Sales, Production and Supply Chain departments to enhance our effectiveness of achieving sales goals

Create and manage internal/external third-party vendor purchase orders from cut to completion.

Review Shop work order repair evaluations for accuracy, thoroughness and to ensure that best practices are utilized in the repair process

Review Shop work order repair costs for accuracy, thoroughness and to ensure that the most cost effective parts are utilized in the repair process

Consult with procurement to make certain parts are ordered properly for production orders

Synthesize costed repair shop work order evaluations into a repair quote that explains the condition of the customers component, the proposed repaired process, the parts used and the final cost of repair. Provide itemized parts and labor price, photographic documentation and expected lead times as required by the customer.

Collaborate with Engineering to evaluate warranty claims and produce warranty quotes to the customers and sales.

Lead the Production Plan (own the Production schedule)

Both Disassembly/Assembly

Lead the weekly production meetings with sales and ops - provide progress on projects and delivery plans

Third Party Vendor Management (Follow up with Vendors on ETAs, Quotes, pricing/invoicing)

Participate in 3-way meetings to resolve urgent matters that supports our customer and or business

All Project quotes transacting through the ERP process with focus on accurate margin projections with risk mitigation.

Participate in continuous improvement activities and encourage a proactive approach to our process development.

Monthly project reviews conducted - Reporting on margins, costs and revenue on parts and labors. Quoted vs closed.

Other duties/special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Post-Secondary Education in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering OR equivalent to 3-5 years applicable experience.

A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

Training and certification in heavy duty mechanics

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Basic computer skills including MS Office, CRM, ERP & Internet is required

Basic understanding of Heavy Equipment and Industrial business is required. Will be required to read and interpret product drawings.
