Title:  Warehouse - Kit Assembly

POSITION SUMMARY:

This supports or operation by assembling kits which includes picking parts following a bill of material.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Conduct all activities in a safe manner.

· Maintain a clean and safe work area.

· Pulling parts from inventory to assemble kits per the work order bill of material.

· Properly package parts for kits.

· Build crates used for packaging of kits.

· Loading and unloading materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, and trucks.

· Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move material.

· Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions, performs daily inspections, and calling for repairs.

· Use of computer system to view inventory and issue inventory to scheduled work orders.

· Work with Production Planning to ensure all parts are available for upcoming scheduled work.

· Working with the Warehouse to ship or inventory assembled kits.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFACTIONS:

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Warehouse or similar experience a plus.

· Basic computer skills.

· Basic carpentry/woodworking experience or use in basic power tools such as a saw and drill preferred.
