About H-E Parts International

H-E Parts International (HEPI) is a global organization providing specialized products, components, and solutions to customers across the mining and heavy-equipment industries. Our businesses bring together expertise across Mining, Crushing, Cooling, and other specialized product and service areas, supported by teams operating across multiple regions around the world.

At HEPI, our people are critical to our success. As we continue to strengthen and grow our organization, we are investing in how we attract, select, and develop the talent needed to support our business today and into the future.

About the Role

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to help strengthen our Talent Acquisition capability across North America.

This is a highly hands-on role with an immediate focus on identifying, engaging, and recruiting high-quality professional, managerial, technical, and other critical talent. The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders and HR partners to understand business needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and proactively identify candidates—particularly for positions where traditional job posting approaches may not be enough.

At the same time, this person will help us build a stronger and more proactive Talent Acquisition function by improving recruiting practices, developing talent pipelines, strengthening hiring-manager capability, and supporting new talent programs.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced recruiter who enjoys both finding great talent and building better ways to attract it.

What You Will Do

Recruit Critical Talent

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for selected professional, managerial, technical, and critical positions across North America.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand business needs and define successful candidate profiles.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill and high-priority roles.
  • Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, industry contacts, and other sourcing channels.
  • Conduct candidate screening and structured interviews and provide clear recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through offer and acceptance.
  • Build talent pipelines for recurring and strategically important positions.

Strengthen Talent Acquisition

  • Help develop a more proactive sourcing and Talent Acquisition strategy for North America.
  • Identify new talent markets, recruiting channels, partnerships, and sourcing approaches.
  • Reduce unnecessary reliance on external search firms by strengthening internal sourcing capability.
  • Support the implementation of consistent interviewing, assessment, and selection practices.
  • Develop practical tools and training to help hiring managers make better hiring decisions.
  • Use recruiting metrics and market intelligence to identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, and effectiveness.

Build Future Talent Pipelines

Support the design and implementation of programs that create sustainable sources of future talent, including:

  • Apprenticeship programs.
  • Internship, graduate, and trainee programs.
  • University and technical-school partnerships.
  • Employee referral programs.
  • Early-career talent initiatives.
  • Talent communities for critical roles.

Strengthen Our Employer Brand

  • Partner with HR and Communications to strengthen HEPI’s presence in relevant talent markets.
  • Support the development and activation of our Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
  • Help communicate HEPI’s career opportunities, culture, and employee experience more effectively to prospective candidates.
  • Support initiatives that broaden our access to diverse talent pools and promote consistent, fair, and inclusive hiring practices.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Approximately 7–10+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition, recruiting, executive search, or related HR experience.
  • Strong experience recruiting professional, managerial, technical, and/or leadership positions.
  • Demonstrated success directly sourcing and engaging passive candidates.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate-assessment skills.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and senior business leaders.
  • Ability to develop creative sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • A practical, hands-on, and results-oriented approach.
  • Experience using LinkedIn, applicant-tracking systems, recruiting platforms, and other sourcing technologies.
  • Ability to use recruiting data and talent-market information to support decisions.
  • Interest in broader Talent initiatives such as employer branding, early-career programs, hiring-manager development, and Talent Development.

Experience in mining, manufacturing, engineering, industrial, heavy equipment, technical services, or similarly specialized environments would be an advantage.

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline is preferred.

Why Join HEPI?

This is an opportunity to do more than manage requisitions.

You will have an immediate impact by helping us find and hire critical talent across North America, while also helping shape how HEPI approaches Talent Acquisition for the future.

As our Talent capabilities continue to mature, the role will also have opportunities to contribute to broader initiatives related to employer branding, early-career talent, apprenticeships, hiring-manager development, and ultimately employee and Talent Development.

If you enjoy finding great people, partnering closely with the business, and building programs that make Talent Acquisition better, we would like to hear from you.
